While living in San Francisco and working in Marketing/Advertising, I realized I wanted to do something with my life that helped others in a positive way. My passion for fitness turned into a career in 2003 when I became an AFAA certified Personal Trainer, followed later as a AFAA certified Group Exercise Instructor. Shortly after having my daughter, I was back in the gym but weight training was too strenuous for my joints. It was at that time that I began my own Pilates practice at Pilates by Linda. Three years later, I knew I wanted to help others in the same way. In 2012, I became a Certified Pilates Teacher on all equipment through the BASI program. I am involved in the development and instruction of the Barre2Sculpt(tm) class exclusively at Pilates by Linda. “I believe that overall fitness is achieved through balancing our minds as well as our bodies. In my experience, frequent exercise has brought synchronicity to my life to help manage the stresses of daily living. If the mind and body are in balance, then a perfect harmony is created within each of us.”
